detect all hard-drives (maybe all storage devices)

Using the Fedora 6.91 Live CD, is there a simple way to do a query from 
a script and obtain a list with all the hard-drives in the system? 
(PATA, SATA, SCSI)

I like to do

# cat /sys/block/*/device/model

but

# kudzu -p CDROM

is probably better
