Would you or anyone else be interested in packaging InitNG in
Fedora
Extras? . Fedora does have a good amount of enthusiastic users who
could
provide feedback on this if this was just a matter of installing a
few
packages with yum in parallel to the current init system and making
sure
stuff doesnt break.
As a matter of fact I did some serious trying to get the initng rpm's
pretty enough for Fedora Extras a while ago (according to the guidelines
at
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras/NewPackageProcess). I never got
rpmlint to like my rpm's though. I don't have much spare time, but if
anyone that is good at rpm building would just give me a hand with
fixing up the spec file, I'd be happy to maintain the package.
