find-lang.sh search path

Hi all.

In qgifer package building (Bug#979702), I need to include language
*.qm files from source software.

Currently, 'cmake' command puts language files into /usr/share/locale
directory but find-lang.sh doesn't locate them in $RPM_BUILD_ROOT. Why ?

It doesn't look right to me, but I'm not a translation expert by any means.

The translations don't go directly in the locale dir but under named
directories for each language, try looking under /usr/share/locale on your
system.

In either case, it doesn't look like qm (QT translations) go in
/usr/share/locale, but rather in a per application location, i.e.:

/usr/share/qgifer/locale/pl.qm

Or something like that.

The usage of %find_lang seems incorrect:

No.

Multiple invocations of %find_lang is a consecutive fault after installing
the locale files wrongly. You would run %find_lang once only and give it
the common name of the files to search for. Most often that is the package
%{name}:

In your review request, the original path is

  %{_datadir}/%{name}/locale/*.qm

which looks more usual for Qt based projects.

Genuinely, forcing /usr/share/locale/ directory is just a my attempt
to find language files through  find-lang.sh .

Then let's not hack the paths, but find out why %find_lang doesn't
find the files. If %name is not part of the filenames, normally you
would need to add option --all-name, but there's a bug in RPM which
I've reopened: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/729336
