Hi All,
I used to do a lot of gaming related Fedora packaging and I still maintain over 200 pkgs, but I really don't have much time for Fedora package maintainership anymore.
The last few years I have been limiting my package maintainership to fixing FTBFS, which for many game packages is fine since they are not seeing any new upstream releases.
Boswars however still has an active upstream and 6 months ago a new version was released. I have been unable to find the time to upgrade to this new release and I don't expect I will find the time to do so in the near future.
So I hope someone else is willing to takeover as maintainer, if not then I'll have to orphan boswars.
Note boswars is currently also FTBFS I don't know if the new upstream release will fix this, but I would start with rebasing to the new upstream release.
There also is one ABRT bug when can be closed when updating to the new release since the backtrace will be invalid for the new version.
Regards,
Hans

Many thanks! I'm sure many still enjoy the fruits of your labor.

I'd be willing to give that a shot. As always, co-maintainers are more than welcome.

It won't. The issue is actually with `python3-scon`, which used to provide /usr/bin/scons-3. It no longer does. Changing the executable name to 'scons' makes the package build again.
I'll submit a PR.

Ack.
Cheers,

Great thank you. If you can give me your FAS username then I can hand over the package to you and you can merge your PR yourself :)

Sure. My FAS username is gui1ty. It was mentioned in my signature ;)
Happy to merge my own PR.

Ah yes now that you mention it I see it :)
Thank you for taking over boswars from me.
I have given the package to you now, making you the main admin.
