Never noticed it here. I'd suggest you use the GNOME volume control app
(or any other ALSA volume control app) to change the volume on the
actual hardware devices - one of those might just be set too high.

This is a tricky and ongoing problem. Adobe provides a nice yum repo for
flash, so at least there's that. I actually haven't tested this in a
little while - ugly proprietary plugins get low priority on my list. But
I'll look at it now that I have a little more time.

On more positive side I must admit I'm impressed with performance
of
wireless and suspend on few laptops I have tested fedora 8 RC3 - it
JustWorks(tm) :)
Well hey, that's good. And it should be getting even better over time -
a few things we wanted fixed for F8 will get fixed later on, in
post-release updates.
