Orphaned package wavemon updated to 0.9.7, F44 COPR build available

Hi,

I've been a long-term Fedora user and have been using wavemon for wireless-related research. I noticed wavemon has been orphaned for a while with the last official build at 0.9.6-3.fc42, while upstream released 0.9.7 back in February. I noticed the package was just sitting there and the update turned out to be trivial (version bump, release reset, changelog entry), so I went ahead and built it (with help from Claude).

Build works cleanly on F44, basic testing on my laptop is fine. COPR available at:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/verdelyi/wavemon/

I can't commit to long-term maintenance at this time, but I may occasionally offer builds when new upstream versions or new Fedora versions come out. For now, let's see how the community reacts to this build.

Actually, you can use the rpmdev-bumpspec tool for that (part of
rpmdevtools package)

I'd say that's enough for maintenance. If you're using the software and
you're able to test it, that's exactly what's required.

Why don't you try and step up as the official maintainer?

Thanks, Dominik. I can give it a try, but I need some assistance.
I followed instructions here [1] to click the "Take" button, but I got "Unable to change the point of contact: You must be a packager to adopt a package."
The docs apparently say I have to "find an existing Fedora packager who's willing to sponsor you based on demonstrated competence", but I'm not sure where to start with that.
