For now I have grabbed this, but might orphan it again later. If someone
more motivated wants to take it let me know. I'll still hang on as an
extra maintainer if you do.
- Upstream is completely dead. I have gotten no response to lists/forum
posts anything. And the last release was almost 2 years ago.
I am not in a position to take over upstream. I am already trying to do this
for chess and need more time for that.
- It currently fails to build from source due to the recent DSO
changes:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=565040
This was pretty easy to fix and I'll commit something soon. -lm needed to
get added to a line in src/Makefile.am and src/Makefile.in. Since upstream is
dead, there won't be any point in trying to get the Makefile.am patch
upstream.
- If currently crashes due to poor coding:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=562038
(basically trying to reload a saved game makes it crash).
I haven't looked at this yet, but will take a quick look at it to see if
it is something obvious.
- I just don't have the time to fix it up. ;(
So, if anyone would like to take it over, feel free.
