Tried a net installation on a 32-bit PPC using the development boot.iso of 16-jul-06. The attempt failed with anaconda dieing almost immediately after it started.
(1) create boot CD from boot.iso (2) boot up (3) enter configuration information - language,keyboard - configure static IP - select HTTP setup * website = download.fedora.redhat.com * directory = /pub/fedora/linux/core/development/ppc/os
Note: in a previous install back in April, the directory path did *not* include 'os'. I added 'os' so stage2.img could be located.
(4) watch stage2.img being loaded
(5) anaconda starts up and then dies.
Thoughts???

Network install from the Rescue CD for PowerPC has never worked in FC6t1. http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=197403
Thanks, John.
I trashed my rawhide system the other day. I was hoping to do a clean install from development. Looks like I will have to wait a while.
