discussing the Diversity Panel plans for FUDCon APAC, moving forward
with our FAD planning (with a goal of having the proposal finished by
next meeting), and also closing out the merging of the Community Working
Group with the Diversity Team.

[diversity] Abstract: Talk at FUDcon-Phnom Penh

I have come up with the following abstract for the diversity talk.
The talk will be based on :-
*What is diversity
*Need of diversity in any tech project
*Fedora and diversity
*Detailing some of the outreach efforts to include more women in open source and Fedora
*Challenges with bringing more women into the community
*Illuminating some of the difficulties faced by women in open source
*Talking about different ideas to enhance the entropy of diverse groups in Fedora
Please suggest ideas and points to improve.
Devyani Kota(devyani7) has volunteered to participate as one of the panelist, It would be great if more experienced contributors could be the part of the panel.

[diversity] Diversity FAD hack session?

Hey all!
We were doing some brief discussion earlier about the Diversity FAD and
finding time where all of us can focus in and wrap up on the details for
the proposal (we wanted to have this done and proposed by Sept. 30).
I'll be in an airport from approximately 04:00 - 09:30 UTC on Friday. If
anyone was available in this time frame, we could try to schedule our
own personal hack session to work on the details and make big movements
forward on the proposal.
Also, if you don't know what I mean by a hack session, there's a wiki

In either case, since the above time is completely awful for anyone west
of the Atlantic, it might be better for some other interested people to
gather up over the weekend and work on some details for finalizing the
proposal. I won't be available this weekend but will be the next.
In any case, we can definitely cover this in our meeting tomorrow
morning. I'll try to send out a proposed agenda for the meeting before then.

[diversity] [Minutes] [2016-09-21] FAD hack sesh, panel planning, reporting guidelines

Hey all! Another meeting just wrapped up for the Diversity Team.
In today's meeting, we agreed to 05:00 UTC, 2016-09-23 (Friday) for
holding our informal hack session for working on FAD planning (we wanted
to have our proposal to the Council / bexelbie by Sept. 30). We'll
figure out where we do the call later, but details will be shared in the
IRC channel closer to then!
We also briefly covered the ongoing panel planning for FUDCon with
a2batic and devyani7 as our in-person attendees. There is still more
planning in progress on this (see other threads on list for more
detailed info)!
Lastly, we covered the reporting guidelines for CoC violations with
regards to a private repository for people to file tickets. More details
are all below!
