The wiki page https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Diversity could use a bit of gardening, for example removing inactive people from the list.

In the past, Fedora Women has acted as a supportive group to connect and assist women interested in using and and contributing to Fedora. Unfortunately, it is now defunct and we do not have any alternative in it's place.
Link to Fedora Women Page on Fedora wiki : https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Women
I was hoping that Diversity team could help revitalize Fedora Women. I am willing to help lead the efforts. However, along with the IRC channel and mailing list, I propose that we should also have a Telegram channel (primary means of communication, if possible) - due to it's ease of communication, wide outreach amongst open source contributors and ease of tracking communications and discussing issues.
Along with following it's earlier mission statement, Fedora Women would also act as -
* A channel to highlight contributions of women and underrepresented communities in Fedora.
* Informal feedback channel about diversity and inclusion across different parts of Fedora Project.
* Provide role models and mentors for newcomers to Fedora community from under represented areas.
I am open to any suggestions about how this channel can be further used to build diversity and inclusion in the community. Also, it would be great if we can have a Fedora Women FAS group, if there isn't one already. However, this is open to discussion.

# Summary
The Diversity Adviser role is currently [unfilled](https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/council-discuss@lis…, but we need someone to help organize and drive Diversity and Inclusion efforts in Fedora. This ticket summarizes what we need and intends to open the floor for someone to volunteer in a leadership capacity.
# Background
One of the repeating themes from our discussions in the past few weeks is how to enable ourselves to be the most productive in our limited time as volunteers. Currently, there are some organizational challenges limiting us from using some of our time together most effectively. Resolving these challenges will move us towards maximizing our time together and working through tasks at a more expedient rate. One of the things that will help us accomplish this is choosing someone to help drive and lead some of the efforts that we are working on. Having someone in this leadership role would help us take down some of these blockers and help us make progress quicker than we have been.
# Responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities of what this would look like are outlined below. This list is not exhaustive.
* **Chairing meetings**
* Would chair IRC / video meetings and help organize the team meeting structure to maximize the most effective use of our time
* Responsible for creating agenda before meeting as a rough outline of what to cover
* **Identify core short-term and long-term tasks**
* Recognize existing tasks, identify new tasks, and prioritize based on team bandwidth and expertise
* New tasks to focus on how to have a larger impact on Fedora and community
* Strategize how we proceed together as a team to accomplish these tasks
* **Helping break down and delegate tasks**
* Some of our tasks are very big and need to be broken into smaller pieces with timelines for completion to be realistic
* Spend time looking at existing tickets, help envision the goals, and form a path forward from current position
* Collaborate with others to help envision the goals and work with team members to build realistic timelines on what they can include
* Delegate action items with realistic check-ups when possible
* **Coordination and representation with the Fedora Council**
* As with the [Diversity Adviser](https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Diversity_Adviser) role, attend Council meetings and serve as the Diversity and Inclusion representative where possible
* Represent needs and vision of D&I efforts and act as a liason between Council and Diversity WG
* **Ticket / wiki gardening**
* Keep ticket metadata updated and current with tags, priorities, milestones
* When necessary, help garden the wiki with accurate / current information
# Length of leadership
Since this is a volunteer position, it is difficult to pin this onto someone as a permanent role. As a suggested way of maintaining this in the long run, we could have the team lead follow the Fedora release cycles, and at the beginning of every release, the team lead would have a chance to renew their leadership role. If someone else wanted to help lead the team, they would also have a chance to self-nominate. This could become integrated into the Fedora Elections cycle for a community election (but for the immediate sense, this is something we should endeavor to self-nominate as soon as possible).
# Nominations
If the above sounds reasonable, I propose that we begin collecting nominations for anyone who would to take the helm in this leadership capacity. We should endeavor to move this seat to an electable role by F27.

I'm +1 for Limesurvey because it's open source. Sorry but I would like avoiding platforms that are not open source, even that it's easier to use them.

Btw as I have mentioned before I would like to change the dates. Last year was really difficult for me to get a lot of participants at Open Labs because at that time students (girls) finish their exam session and they leave Tirana to go to their hometown. Since is a really important event I would like to have more attendance, that's why I propose to organize it on September or October.
I think is really important that all the local activities should be at least at the same month, and I agree with @bee2502 that we need to publish an article on CommBlog about this event to invite all local Fedora communities to organize a FWD at their country with our help/support. At the end we can collect some pictures from the events or even interviews and post/share them on our channels.

I wanted to share a link [1] to show how Wikimedia handles this situations and how someone can report his/her problem. Also they have the Code of Conduct Committee [2] which is a team of five trusted individuals with diverse affiliations responsible for general enforcement of the Code of conduct for Wikimedia. Committee members are in charge of processing complaints, discussing with the parties affected, agreeing on resolutions, and following up on their enforcement.

Btw guys don't you think that we have listed a lot of badges there that people need to have in order to be part of the Diversity team? For example: what if they don't have the curious penguin badge because they don't have any question on their mind to post at 'Ask Fedora'? I would propose to reduce the number of the badges, maybe 5 in total.
What do you think?
