Hi all,
I wanted to notify in advance that I will not be active in Fedora from
May to August 2018.
https://blog.justinwflory.com/2018/04/fedora-may-to-august-2018/
I will try to work and support Fedora Women Day planning over the
summer, but this is probably the most I will be able to help with. I'll
also keep up in the Telegram / IRC channel.
Thanks!

Hi all! This week's meeting wrapped up a bit ago.
This week, we had time to cover three main topics in our meeting, mostly
about the goals sent over the list earlier:
* Fedora Women Day 2018 planning and timeline
* Inclusive event guidelines, in time for a trial-run at Flock 2018
* Creating podcast questionnaire for interview with x3mboy at end of
month
Thanks everyone who came out and participated today. Also happy to
welcome Dyuti De as a newcomer who participated in the meeting today
too! \o/
We planned a follow-up meeting for next Friday, April 13, 2018 at the
same time. Hope to see you all then!

Dear all,
You are kindly invited to the meeting:
Diversity Team IRC Meeting on 2018-04-06 from 13:00:00 to 14:00:00 UTC
At fedora-meeting(a)irc.freenode.net
The meeting will be about:
Every week, the [Diversity Team](https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Diversity) meets to discuss items on our [agenda](https://pagure.io/fedora-diversity/issues).
The goal of this diversity initiative is to help promote an inclusive community within Fedora. To do this, we assist the Diversity Advisor with the planning and implementation of diversity efforts such as the enforcement of the code of conduct, creating content highlighting the diverse community in Fedora, and offering workshops and fostering communication between Fedora sub-projects.

Hi all,
When reviewing the notes in our Etherpad, I was unsure if we are trying
to focus and target users or current/potential contributors for Fedora
Women Day 2018.
I was reviewing the Etherpad that Bee started to work in, which has a
great start to mapping out some of the goals for this year:
https://etherpad.persephone.cloud/p/diversity-fad-2018
Some of the ideas for this year include resource packages and better
ways to measure our impact and success. To this, I feel like we need to
first answer who are we targeting? Who should Fedora Women Day appeal to?
I feel that it is best to focus on users instead of contributors.
Focusing on contributors limits us except for locations with high
concentrations of Fedora contributors. I also believe that users are not
always contributors, but contributors are usually always users, so there
is overlap that is mutually helpful.
To better provide feedback on the FWD planning this year, I wanted to
see what you all thought on who our target audience is and how we should
focus our content around that audience.
Thoughts?

Hi all,
Before the meeting tomorrow, April 6, at 13:00, please read and review
the draft started in this Etherpad with the proposed goals and
objectives for the next year:
https://etherpad.persephone.cloud/p/diversity-fad-2018
This will make our meeting time more productive tomorrow if everyone can
read this before we start.
See you tomorrow at 13:00 UTC!
