I am +1 for this as long as we can provide a template for the pagure which includes event details like speaker topics, attendees, venue etc for he organizers.

I am also +1 and hope the team will make a template.

Hi all,

Since I will not be able to attend the meeting tomorrow, I wanted to
suggest removing the requirement for FWD event organizers to create a
wiki page for their event.

This practice is borrowed from the Ambassadors, but recently, since the
move to Pagure, this practice has become less common. I was also
thinking about what the benefit / gain is of asking FWD organizers to
create a wiki page for their event. Is it better to ask them to create a
wiki page, or to better document their event in a Pagure ticket in the
new FWD Pagure repo?

I thought it may be more effective and a better use of planning time for
organizers to focus on Pagure only instead of also using a wiki page and
a Pagure ticket. I am not sure about others, but I didn't look back at
the wiki pages to reference events, but I checked Pagure tickets first.

Additionally, we will likely be able to keep Pagure tickets public,
since reimbursements will not happen here – the private information and
receipts will be processed in the fedora-budget repo. This allows us to
keep past year's tickets easily archived and referenced for future years.

Do others have strong opinions on this? I'd like to think of ways to
reduce the burden of time-consuming work for FWD organizers. I'd like
for this to be discussed in the meeting tomorrow, if possible.

Thanks!
