Hi all,
Per discussion in IRC today, a new repository to accept Fedora Women's Day (FWD) event proposals is now created and ready to receive submissions.
https://pagure.io/fedora-diversity/fedora-womens-day
We hoped to have event organizers submit their events in a specific repo for FWD, different from the regular D&I Team Pagure. This helps us narrow the focus and also use different features of Pagure to make it easier for people to apply.
The repository is set up with relevant tags, priorities, milestones, and a default ticket template for an event organizer to use for their event proposal. This should help make it easier for event organizers and the D&I team to review submissions.
See an example FWD 2018 proposal using the template here:
https://pagure.io/fedora-diversity/fedora-womens-day/issue/1
It would probably be a good idea to mention this in the FWD CommBlog post too.
Does anyone have any thoughts or feedback? If not, the tooling is now in place to begin accepting proposals for this year's FWDs.
Awesome Justin. Thanks for doing it. +1 for using it.
Hey Dyuti, Please include this information in the post as well.
Thanks, Amita
