recent website changes for docs
by Tammy Fox
1. This has been updated to include a chapter on Emacs and nXML Mode
thanks to Gavin Henry, a few other patches/suggestion, and an Index. I
also added some brief information on how the index is auto-generated.
There are probably other minor fixes as well I can't remember. I have
started tagging the files in CVS as I create new versions, so next time
I can send out exact diffs for those interested and so you don't have to
read it all again to figure out the subtle changes.

2. I posted the latest version of the Fedora Jargon Buster. It is in CVS
as well, so patches and suggestions are welcome. Thanks to Dave for
starting it!

3. I posted the beginnings of an FAQ for the Docs Project:
http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/documentation-faq/
I hope to start working on the Installation Guide and a "Quick Start"
guide for getting started with the docs project this week as well.

Tammy

to-do list?
by Dave Pawson
/for those willing volunteers?
It would be a big help if the redhat types here
could provide/add to over time,
a list of documents that would be helpful,
are needed etc?
I.e. a To Do list?
We can all do bits,
If rh can say what bits (big.... small chunks)
need doing, we can chip in to make it happen?

Please respond as soon as possible with your status. If you do not
respond after a week, I will assign the topic to someone else.
Next week, I will also post this list to the website.

Active tutorials
by Mike MacCana
I've published the tutorials I'm currently working on at:
www.cyber.com.au/users/mikem/fedora-docs
This includes:
DNS Serving
DHCP Serving
Mail Serving
Web Serving
Windows File Serving
Secure FTP Serving
Proxy Serving
NFS Serving
They're in progress, so expect that they're missing stuff, but they should
provide you with a good idea of where things are going.
Cheers,
Mike
