The editor in me suggests we standardise on file system instead of
filesystem. It looks and reads better and when one can avoid a neologism
they should. And yes if you cc me once it's written I'll be happy to
edit for you :)
I for one agree with this. No decent spell checker even recognizes
"filesystem," but I admit I've been guilty of using it from time to
time.
