Yes, it's part of that.  We're trying to minimize the impacts across the
distro which also increases the testing coverage for GCC itself.  I've
probably fixed ~200 of these kinds of things over the last few months.  
Next year the plan is to start pushing all these trivial fixes to the
appropriate upstreams.
