Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): eclipse-platform-4.6.0-3.fc24.x86_64 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change system timezone to America/Caracas 2. Restart Eclipse 3. Open the properties window of any resource and check the modification time Actual results: Eclipse show a 30 minutes offset from the real one listed by ls Expected results: modification time must be equals between Eclipse and ls Additional info: The real problem must be based on the usage of another library. I find that icu4j is a dependency for Eclipse and it has its own timezone database. If confirmed this is the case we can move the bug to icu4j in order to make it use tzdata-java. In previous releases clicked for example import class... and code added. Problem is only under gnome3, with xfce eclipse hover works fine. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: open java project create some code try hover over variable from suggestions click to something Steps to Reproduce: 1. open eclipse 2. code some java 3. try use hover assistant Actual results: no action Expected results: for example add import some class to code when click to import... This causes noticable load. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): eclipse-swt-4.6.3-3.fc26.x86_64 eclipse-pydev-5.5.0-3.fc26.x86_64 gtk3-3.22.15-1.fc26.x86_64 How reproducible: often, after Eclipse has been running and used for a while, almost always after ca. 1 hour. Steps to Reproduce: Unclear. Run eclipse for a while. Actual results: Tabs start flickering and changing its size and font face (regular vs. italic) all the time. This causes noticable CPU load and makes the whole desktop session sluggish. Expected results: Don't change tabs rendering. Make sure it is running on Gtk3 with GDK_BACKEND=x11 (wayland will crash). 2. open a new perspective 3. in the perspective switcher (top right by default), right-click on a perspective 4. select something, e.g. "close" from menu Actual results: menu doesn't close Expected results: menu should close Additional info: This issue does not affect ordinary menus, and it doesn't affect all dropdown menus either (e.g. beside the run/debug/run external buttons). This issue was not present on Gtk2.
