Hello there,
I've revamped the wiki entirely
https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-electronic-lab/
It is now categorised into 3 groups :
* developers
* users
* marketers
I think that frontpage pretty much sketch out the basic things we need
to convey to these 3 categories. I would appreciate if you could take
the initiative an update it accordingly.
Cheers,
Chitlesh

My fedora (FEL) boot up takes about 3 or 4 minutes to start up. I first
thought that it is fedora OS specific. But other feodra users haven't any
problem. I also can't hibernate. (I didn't do any update yet.)

Thanks for your fast and clear answer.
However, I´ve tried to fill a ticket, but I haven´t found the way of
creating a user account on Trac system, to be able to do it. Maybe I´m
a little silly, but I swear you that Ï´ve not achieved it.

Peter Clifford suggested that geda-gaf 1.6 install can be improved by
tuned Fedora's geda-gaf scriptlets. (1 or 2 seconds)
For the next fedora geda package update, this will be fixed.

#54: Help openmoko contributors get a suitable development platform
-----------------------------+----------------------------------------------
Reporter: chitlesh | Owner: chitlesh
Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: major | Milestone: Fedora 13
Component: FEL | Version: devel
Keywords: kicad, openmoko |
-----------------------------+----------------------------------------------
OpenMoko hardware team uses the trunk version of Kicad with their in-house
patches. These patches slowly find their way into the kicad trunk.
New openmoko contributors will need to compile everything from scratch
before having a glimpse to the schematics and layouts, since their
favourite distribution is not providing a compatible kicad version.
This is ticket against Fedora Electronic Lab team to strive to improve
this issue on Fedora so that Fedora users can use opensource software to
develop open hardware.
That said, this should not be limited to the openmoko's needs but also any
other opensource hardware project which are using opensource EDA software.

Hi.
I'm sure you know this wonderful open project: http://www.arduino.cc.
I'm surprised of not finding its IDE in Fedora's repositories, nor in software list of Fedora FEL. It must be a real reason for that. Does someone knows it?
Thanks a lot!!
