Xcircuit Error

Hi,

I'm trying to run xcircuit, however following error occurs :

chetanpatil@chetanpatil ~]$ xcircuit
X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for
operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  53 (X_CreatePixmap)
  Value in failed request:  0x0
  Serial number of failed request:  5160
  Current serial number in output stream:  5162

Also tried running directly using GUI however no response there too.

You haven't mentioned which Fedora release and version of xcircuit you
are using. Please file a detailed bug report at bugzilla.redhat.com.

Where did you get this release?
Lastest available xcircuit release in Fedora is 3.6.164.

I think I have done blunder.

As Xcircuit wasn't working via GUI so I compiled
it using http://opencircuitdesign.com/xcircuit/ stable version.

Then tried running it from terminal which gave error as provided in
last mail.

Hello there,

The Fedora xcircuit package is working just fine under F-16.
Please use the official Fedora xcircuit package as it includes several
improvements in terms of interoperability. e.g with ngspice.

Try to following and send us the feedback:
(as root) yum remove xcircuit
(as root) yum install xcircuit -y
