Hello Davi,
I'm so happy to read you about how to incorporate to the spin. I've some ideas about how we could improve the spin in future release and bring more people from latin america to contribute to the spin.
Zoltan, I confuse about the how we could be part of the team cause I've been trying to contact Chitlesh since more than three months and I didn't received any response.
I think that we need to look for a way about how to be involve in the project.
Cheers,

Hi Kiara,
I think we need a serious reboot of the project, and I sadly I have to say this gonna be a resurrection. We are with you 3 people together that would like to see some life in this subproject, and around it. Do you think we can make enough noice around it? Can we build or make somehow a f21 based build? Or first asking for help, and then we take over if no one is around? Since I try to lead the HU community, and I do lot of stuff next to this FEL - I have just seen that inside the FEL wiki is sightly outdated, looks like an abandoned ghost ship :( Sh***.
I try to do my best and I will ask around on multiple channels. Then I come back here.
@Kiara and @Dani - Please also make a noise and ask for help around you

Zoltan, I agree with you. What do you propose to make a noise around de project?
From my perspective I quote one of the most important things that we need
to do now:
Find someone that could guide us about how we could get the access to the repos. So far I have understood that Shakthi retired from the project. And he was the most contributor of the spin, he had been maintaining most packages available on FEL. And he was the only developer that appear on the oficial list.
The other is build the iso image every release of FEL with the last software refered to electronics.
Upgrade the information and images on the spin website. It's very old, an some people could go away if see that the information it's not been upgraded periodically, at least every every release.
I'm been working in FEL here in latin america spreding the spin and the tools that Fedora bring to do electronic project. But it's a little bit difficult because I don't have a group team where we could discuss what we need to do for the next releases and some kind of stuff.
Look for more people that would like to maintain the orphan packages that Shakthi left.
So, I'm open to comments and new suggestions.

Hi Kiara,
What I have done already, that made a gplus post that somebody answers to me - but nobody yet. I will make a blogpost, and try to reach some feedback that we electronics lovers we need this - at least group of packages that we can pull down to F21 worstation setup. I'm not a packager, but I can help to type as many I can, updating pages, and send distress call to the people. Well, anyhow - we'll require tons of people - and no - you are wrong, we have a team - you and me :) at least, and possibly along with Dani from Sao Paulo. ;)
PS: If you can, please blog to the Fedora planet, as I will do - as asking help in the frame of the .Next move. Maybe we receive people, and some feedback either. Also I mail to Shakthi that we need the "castle keys" and secrets :)
I think that would be enough for start. When we got some responses, we'll be smarter. Keep the faith.

There's this opinion that Electronic Lab is tied to KDE somehow, but I believe that the applications are divided more-less evenly between KDE/Qt and Gnome/gtk. I think I tallied them up at some point but I can't find it now.
Helo everyone,
I believe "making noise" would not help.
The status is that no one is contributing for FEL actively. Both Shakthi and I are now tied up with our respective lifes, which leaves us with no time for FEL.
If you want to takeover the work we accomplished till now, please go ahead.
Please remember our goal was to showcase the electronic engineering world the concept of opensource software and opensource EDA software portfolio via FEL. FEL had tools for ASIC design, PCB design and embedded software programming toolchains.
Cheers, Chitlesh
