Thanks Brian for welcoming Martin and Solanch.

I just to point out that it was not funny to hear again from Fedora that I did a "Julita project" or something like that.
I have dedicated my life for more than 7 years to Fedora and GNOMe and my people (I have to call them my people because they are my followers and we got engaged with Linux together)
and now they want to continue the path I have built for years. It is educational for them and the new students we have in Lima interested more in Linux nowadays.

The ticket and the wiki are already done and @aaragon is working on the design. I hope this time LATAM can approve them in order to continue Fedora Lima for the next generation!

I'd hope that as a team we know how to work remotely and across cultures.  Unless the folks in Lima speak a language that Edward doesn't, I don't see how this disqualifies him.  I think it would also be good if you specifically contacted the folks in Puno.

I don't think it is your intention to write this as though these folks are actually part of the Julita project and not the Fedora project, but that is how it reads to me.

Instead, I think this is a great time to make sure the folks in Lima are part of the larger Fedora community.  As you have said, you are going to be busy so they should already have contacts in the larger LATAM and Fedora communities.

This is what a good Ambassador Mentor does.  What can we do to get them involved so they are comfortable with not just relying on you?

This is an option.  Better is having them know how to open the tickets themselves.

Let's make that day today.  Why are we not working on getting Martin and Solanch ready to be ambassadors and made such now?  There is no geographic maximum on the number of ambassadors per city.
