How can I commit a new package to EPEL5? I adapted python3-3.1.2 from F-13 to RHEL5, anyone need it?

This recently got updated from 1.3.1 to 1.6.1. This change breaks at least chef v 0.9.8 (elff). Overriding the rubygem version check seems to work ok in my very limited testing, but there's some potential breakages in the gem changelog. I suggest a rollback. Thoughts?

Cherokee 1.2.1-1.el5 update breaks SSL

Hi Pali, list, I'm not sure whether you are aware of this, but the recent update from Cherokee to 1.2.1-1 breaks SSL on at least el5. From what I can see, it is probably this bug: http://code.google.com/p/cherokee/is asues/detail?id=1126<http://code.google.com/p/cherokee/issues/detail?id=1126> . Can I politely suggest reverting this update for el5 at least? gcc44-compiled builds of some packages

Hi, I'm trying to build cp2k in EL-5 branch, but it needs gfortran 4.4.0 or newer and upstream is unwilling to support older gfortran. So I have to use BR: gcc44-gfortran and do some patching. However, cp2k needs blas and lapack (or atlas, with a little help), which links to libgfortran.so.1 (since it was built with gcc-gfortran). Linking to both ligfortran.so.3 and .so.1 is not a good idea, so I'd like some feedback from the maintainers of atlas and lapack (on which atlas has BuildRequires:) on how to proceed. I believe building additional subpackages from atlas and lapack containing libraries with modified sonames is the best option. What do you think?
