When I attempt to update debootstrap with
# yum update
/var/cache/yum/x86_64/6.9/epel-testing/packages/debootstrap-1.0.97-
1.el6.noarch.rpm
I get (sumary here, full log below the line):
Downloading Packages:
Running rpm_check_debug
Running Transaction Test
Transaction Check Error:
file /usr/share/man/it/man5/dpkg.cfg.5.gz from install of
dpkg-1.16.18-2.el6x86_64 conflicts with file from package
man-pages-it-2.80-6.el6.noarch
(Parenthetically, given rpmquiery -i debootstrap
Description :
debootstrap is used to create a Debian base system from scratch,
without requiring the availability of dpkg or apt...
It seems odd that we now require dpkg. If I get to choose, could you
remove the dependency rather than update the decription :-) ?)
hum !?!
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/debootstrap/c/6f76bb966ef3b1067db86d
2dae748f50a0cdc117?branch=master
but the main problem is in man-pages-it-2.80-6.el6.noarch which provide
a man page for dpkg
