Subsequent to the last EPEL meeting I've tried to pull out some info on which packages have and have not been built so far...
Note: Originally there was no plan for an automated mass re-build
Out of almost 3500 packages, about 500 have been built.
A list of what's been built or not, who's packages haven't been built and what the latest builds are can be found at:
http://tremble.fedorapeople.org/EPEL-Report
The top 10 for unbuilt packages:
spot : 197 lkundrak : 153 steve : 141 orphan : 126 thias : 88 rdieter : 80 lmacken : 67 rjones : 62 xulchris : 59 kwizart : 56

Some of the packages on your list were pulled into core RHEL. I know rails and it's deps were. Thus, I have not built them for EPEL-6.

Okay, the list's been reduced to only those listed in pkgdb for EL-6
Caveat, some stuff got branched even though it's made it into RHEL-6...

things in rhel at beta1 did not get branched, But ive seen packages that have been obsoleted etc that got branched because the maintainer did not put a nobranch file in cvs.
Once Beta2 and GA happen we will have to review what is branched and block/branch accordingly
