We seem to be running into an issue with the existing xfce4-panel-4.8.3-2.el6. We seem to have the panel kernel panic crash seeming related to xfce4-panel (homedir NFS + panel operation + andmaybe Xen = random crash) on a fully updated CentOS 6.4. A couple of the (likely) related bugs with the xfce4-panel-4.8.x era version include: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=827508 https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7951
I would like to see if a re-basing to the xfce-4.10 is possible for the el6 based RPM's, please.

I think this would be against EPEL policy, unless it could be done in such a way as to not disrupt users (which I don't think is possible).
Additionally, I think a number of components in RHEL6 are too old for Xfce 4.10 to build/work.
Someone could try and make a side repo however.
I don't currently have any time to devote to such a project, but happy to help if someone wants to work on it.
