Name : opensmtpd
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 5.7.3p2
Release : 1.el7
URL : http://www.opensmtpd.org/
Summary : Free implementation of the server-side SMTP protocol as defined by RFC 5321
Description :
OpenSMTPD is a FREE implementation of the server-side SMTP protocol as defined
by RFC 5321, with some additional standard extensions. It allows ordinary
machines to exchange e-mails with other systems speaking the SMTP protocol.
Started out of dissatisfaction with other implementations, OpenSMTPD nowadays
is a fairly complete SMTP implementation. OpenSMTPD is primarily developed
by Gilles Chehade, Eric Faurot and Charles Longeau; with contributions from
various OpenBSD hackers. OpenSMTPD is part of the OpenBSD Project.
The software is freely usable and re-usable by everyone under an ISC license.
This package uses standard "alternatives" mechanism, you may call
"/usr/sbin/alternatives --set mta /usr/sbin/sendmail.opensmtpd"
if you want to switch to OpenSMTPD MTA immediately after install, and
"/usr/sbin/alternatives --set mta /usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail" to revert
back to Sendmail as a default mail daemon.

Fedora EPEL 7 Update: perl-CBOR-XS-1.4-2.el7

Fedora EPEL Update Notification

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : perl-CBOR-XS
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 1.4
Release : 2.el7
URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/CBOR-XS/
Summary : Concise Binary Object Representation (CBOR)
Description :
This module converts Perl data structures to the Concise Binary Object
Representation (CBOR) and vice versa. CBOR is a fast binary serialization
format that aims to use an (almost) superset of the JSON data model, i.e.
when you can represent something useful in JSON, you should be able to
represent it in CBOR.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
1.4 Mon Feb 8 05:10:15 CET 2016 - buffer overflow fix: a fast path during
decoding did not check remaining length when decoding hash keys, found by
fuzzing. This can potentially leak information in the error message or crash the
process. - use C style { 0 } struct initializer. - upgrade libecb. 1.3 Mon
Apr 27 22:21:04 CEST 2015 - the incremental parser didn't properly parse tagged
values (testcase by Mons Anderson). - slightly speed up encoding of plain
(nonmagical) arrays. - try to clarify further that effectively all 32 bit
architectures have 64 bit integer support. - upgrade libecb.

Name : milter-greylist
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 4.5.16
Release : 3.el7
URL : http://hcpnet.free.fr/milter-greylist/
Summary : Milter for greylisting, the next step in the spam control war
Description :
Greylisting is a new method of blocking significant amounts of spam at
the mailserver level, but without resorting to heavyweight statistical
analysis or other heuristical (and error-prone) approaches. Consequently,
implementations are fairly lightweight, and may even decrease network
traffic and processor load on your mailserver.
This package provides a greylist filter for sendmail's milter API.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update adds SPF support, on by default. Mail from domains that publish SPF
DNS records and originates from domain-approved servers will bypass the
greylisting. There are also the latest minor bug fixes from upstream.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use
su -c 'yum update milter-greylist' at the command line.
