Fedora EPEL 8 Update: systemd-extras-245-1.el8
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2020-3e38bbd09b
2020-04-06 10:48:05.181016
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : systemd-extras
Product : Fedora EPEL 8
Version : 245
Release : 1.el8
URL : https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd
Summary : System and Service Manager (optional components)
Description :
The systemd-extras package provides optional systemd components as sub-
packages, such as systemd-networkd and systemd-timesyncd, which are not
part of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (and possibly derivates).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Changes with 245 ================ * `systemd-networkd` gained support for
configuring Token Bucket Filter (TBF) parameters in its qdisc
configuration support. Similarly, support for Stochastic Fairness
Queuing (SFQ), Controlled-Delay Active Queue Management (CoDel), and
Fair Queue (FQ) has been added. * `systemd-networkd` gained support for
Intermediate Functional Block (IFB) network devices. * `systemd-
networkd` gained support for configuring multi-path IP routes, using
the new `MultiPathRoute=` setting in the `[Route]` section. * `systemd-
networkd`'s DHCPv4 client has been updated to support a new
`SendDecline=` option. If enabled, duplicate address detection is done
after a DHCP offer is received from the server. If a conflict is
detected, the address is declined. The DHCPv4 client also gained
support for a new `RouteMTUBytes=` setting that allows to configure the
MTU size to be used for routes generated from DHCPv4 leases. * The
`PrefixRoute=` setting in `systemd-networkd`'s `[Address]` section of
`.network` files has been deprecated, and replaced by `AddPrefixRoute=`,
with its sense inverted. * The `Gateway=` setting of `[Route]` sections of
`.network` files gained support for a special new value "_dhcp". If
set, the configured static route uses the gateway host configured via
DHCP. * New `User=` and `SuppressPrefixLength=` settings have been
implemented for the `[RoutingPolicyRule]` section of `.network` files
to configure source routing based on UID ranges and prefix length,
respectively. * `networkctl` gained support for showing per-interface logs in
its "status" output. * `systemd-networkd-wait-online` gained
support for specifying the maximum operational state to wait for, and
to wait for interfaces to disappear. * The `[Match]` section of
`.link` and `.network` files now supports a new option
`PermanentMACAddress=` which may be used to check against the
permanent MAC address of a network device even if a randomized MAC
address is used. * The `[TrafficControlQueueingDiscipline]` section in
`.network` files has been renamed to `[NetworkEmulator]` with the
"NetworkEmulator" prefix dropped from the individual setting names.
* Any `.link` and `.network` files that have an empty `[Match]` section (this
also includes empty and commented-out files) will now be rejected.
`systemd-udev` and `systemd-networkd` started warning about such files
in version 243.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fedora EPEL 6 Update: R-qtl-1.46.2-1.el6

Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2020-df881d58f9
2020-04-06 10:45:43.763882
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : R-qtl
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 1.46.2
Release : 1.el6
URL : https://www.rqtl.org/
Summary : Tools for analyzing QTL experiments
Description :
R-qtl is an extensible, interactive environment for mapping
quantitative trait loci (QTLs) in experimental crosses. Our goal is to
make complex QTL mapping methods widely accessible and allow users to
focus on modeling rather than computing.
A key component of computational methods for QTL mapping is the hidden
Markov model (HMM) technology for dealing with missing genotype
data. We have implemented the main HMM algorithms, with allowance for
the presence of genotyping errors, for backcrosses, intercrosses, and
phase-known four-way crosses.
The current version of R-qtl includes facilities for estimating
genetic maps, identifying genotyping errors, and performing single-QTL
genome scans and two-QTL, two-dimensional genome scans, by interval
mapping (with the EM algorithm), Haley-Knott regression, and multiple
imputation. All of this may be done in the presence of covariates
(such as sex, age or treatment). One may also fit higher-order QTL
models by multiple imputation and Haley-Knott regression.
