--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : nss-mdns
Product : Fedora EPEL 9
Version : 0.15.1
Release : 3.1.el9
URL : https://github.com/lathiat/nss-mdns
Summary : glibc plugin for .local name resolution
Description :
nss-mdns is a plugin for the GNU Name Service Switch (NSS) functionality of
the GNU C Library (glibc) providing host name resolution via Multicast DNS
(aka Zeroconf, aka Apple Rendezvous, aka Apple Bonjour), effectively allowing
name resolution by common Unix/Linux programs in the ad-hoc mDNS domain .local.
nss-mdns provides client functionality only, which means that you have to
run a mDNS responder daemon separately from nss-mdns if you want to register
the local host name via mDNS (e.g. Avahi).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : boxes
Product : Fedora EPEL 9
Version : 2.2.0
Release : 1.el9
URL : http://boxes.thomasjensen.com
Summary : Command line ASCII boxes unlimited!
Description :
Boxes is a command line program which draws, removes, and repairs ASCII art
boxes. It operates as a text filter. The generated boxes may even be removed
and repaired again if they were badly damaged by editing of the text inside.
Since boxes may be open on any side, boxes can also be used to create
(regional) comments in any programming language.
Boxes is useful for making the function headers in your programming language
look better, for spicing up news postings and emails, or just for decorating
documentation files. Since the drawn box is matched in size to your input
text, you can use boxes in scripts to dynamically add boxes around stuff.

Product : Fedora EPEL 9
Version : 4.2.1
Release : 5.el9
URL : https://www.r-project.org
Summary : A language for data analysis and graphics
Description :
This is a metapackage that provides both core R userspace and
all R development components.
R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics.
R is similar to the award-winning S system, which was developed at
Bell Laboratories by John Chambers et al. It provides a wide
variety of statistical and graphical techniques (linear and
nonlinear modelling, statistical tests, time series analysis,
classification, clustering, ...).
R is designed as a true computer language with control-flow
constructions for iteration and alternation, and it allows users to
add additional functionality by defining new functions. For
computationally intensive tasks, C, C++ and Fortran code can be linked
and called at run time.

[SECURITY] Fedora EPEL 9 Update: kitty-0.26.3-2.el9

Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2022-1de0ed44a1

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : kitty
Product : Fedora EPEL 9
Version : 0.26.3
Release : 2.el9
URL : https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty
Summary : Cross-platform, fast, feature full, GPU based terminal emulator
Description :
- Offloads rendering to the GPU for lower system load and buttery smooth
scrolling. Uses threaded rendering to minimize input latency.
- Supports all modern terminal features: graphics (images), unicode, true-color,
OpenType ligatures, mouse protocol, focus tracking, bracketed paste and
several new terminal protocol extensions.
- Supports tiling multiple terminal windows side by side in different layouts
without needing to use an extra program like tmux.
- Can be controlled from scripts or the shell prompt, even over SSH.
- Has a framework for Kittens, small terminal programs that can be used to
extend kitty's functionality. For example, they are used for Unicode input,
Hints and Side-by-side diff.
- Supports startup sessions which allow you to specify the window/tab layout,
working directories and programs to run on startup.
- Cross-platform: kitty works on Linux and macOS, but because it uses only
OpenGL for rendering, it should be trivial to port to other Unix-like
platforms.
- Allows you to open the scrollback buffer in a separate window using arbitrary
programs of your choice. This is useful for browsing the history comfortably
in a pager or editor.
- Has multiple copy/paste buffers, like vim.

Fedora EPEL 7 Update: pdftk-java-3.3.3-1.el7
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2022-b3258b6375
2022-10-01 01:41:24.728768
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : pdftk-java
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 3.3.3
Release : 1.el7
URL : https://gitlab.com/pdftk-java/pdftk
Summary : GCJ-free toolkit for manipulating PDF documents
Description :
If PDF is electronic paper, then pdftk-java is an electronic staple-remover,
hole-punch, binder, secret-decoder-ring, and X-Ray-glasses. PDFtk is a simple
tool for doing everyday things with PDF documents: Merge PDF documents, split
PDF pages into a new document, decrypt input as necessary (password required),
encrypt output as desired, burst a PDF document into single pages, report on
PDF metrics, including metadata and bookmarks, uncompress and re-compress page
streams, and repair corrupted PDF (where possible).
Pdftk-java is a port of the original GCJ-based PDFtk to Java. The GNU Compiler
for Java (GCJ) is a portable, optimizing, ahead-of-time compiler for the Java
programming language, which had no new developments since 2009 and was finally
removed in 2016 from the GCC development tree before the release of GCC 7.
