-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora EPEL Update Notification FEDORA-EPEL-2011-4859 2011-11-02 15:47:37 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : GitPython Product : Fedora EPEL 6 Version : 0.3.2 Release : 0.1.RC1.el6 URL : http://pypi.python.org/pypi/GitPython/ Summary : Python Git Library Description : GitPython is a python library used to interact with Git repositories.
GitPython provides object model access to your git repository. Once you have created a repository object, you can traverse it to find parent commit(s), trees, blobs, etc.
GitPython is a port of the grit library in Ruby created by Tom Preston-Werner and Chris Wanstrath.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
This is a new rewrite of fedpkg (part of fedora-packager) that uses the pyrpkg backend. It requires an updated GitPython which brings in some new packages as well (python-gitdb, python-async, python-smmap). The new GitPython has some API changes so please let me know if there are any other consumers of GitPython that need updating.
This update was edited and a new rpkg and standalone fedpkg builds were added with more bugfixes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use su -c 'yum update GitPython' at the command line. For more information, refer to "Managing Software with yum", available at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/yum/.
All packages are signed with the Fedora EPEL GPG key. More details on the GPG keys used by the Fedora Project can be found at https://fedoraproject.org/keys --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
