-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora EPEL Update Notification FEDORA-EPEL-2010-2426 2010-03-16 19:08:58 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : mod_wsgi Product : Fedora EPEL 5 Version : 3.2 Release : 1.el5 URL : http://modwsgi.org Summary : A WSGI interface for Python web applications in Apache Description : The mod_wsgi adapter is an Apache module that provides a WSGI compliant interface for hosting Python based web applications within Apache. The adapter is written completely in C code against the Apache C runtime and for hosting WSGI applications within Apache has a lower overhead than using existing WSGI adapters for mod_python or CGI.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
* This updates mod_wsgi to the latest released version. It should now be possible to run mod_wsgi and mod_python at the same time without segfaulting apache. * Users should be aware that mod_wsgi will deadlock if run in daemon mode while mod_python is loaded. mod_python will continue to work whether mod_wsgi is enabled or not. * The default configuration file disables mod_wsgi so it is up to the user to enable mod_wsgi from this point forward. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References:
