RabbitMQ 3.7 in Rawhide
by Jeremy Cline
Hi folks,
Fedora infrastructure is looking at deploying RabbitMQ, but we'd like to
have some of the features that come with Rabbit 3.7 and 3.6 is EOL as of
May 1. Fedora currently has 3.6.15 in Rawhide.
I started looking at getting rabbitmq-server updated, but before I get
too far along I wanted to ask if there's already been some effort in
that area that's just not pushed yet or if there's a reason it's not
been upgraded (other than that we're all very busy :).
Thanks,
Jeremy

--- Comment #13 from Timothée Floure <timothee.floure(a)fnux.ch> ---
There is currently an erlang-rebar3 package in rawhide and I'm working to
update it to the latest upstream version. The current version works but make a
lot of calls to the network and we can't use it as-is for packaging: I'm also
working on it but it will take some time since I have a lot of other things to
work on.
You'll find some details on the wiki page of the SIG [0] and I will open a few
bugs on RHBZ in order to track the mentionned issues.
