Congelamiento del mouse y ventanas Fedora7 con NV-7300 y AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2

Hola a todos tengo el siguiente problema:
Re-escalo una ventana o minimizo y se congela la pantalla, en ciertas
ocasiones el mouse también se congela y tengo que hacer lel deshonroso
"reset" e iniciar de nuevo.
He actualizado la bios: nada
Use el driver del www.nvidia.com: nada
Use el driver de livna, xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-100.14.11-1.lvn7 y el
kmod-nvidia-100.14.11-1.2.6.22.1_41.fc7 : nada
Alguien que tenga alguna idea del problema ..?
mi configuración es la siguiente:

PROBLEMA CON VIDEO DE COMPAQ F500

Saludos gente
Queria consultar , sobre un problema de video se queda oscura la
pantalla,depues de instalar fedora core 7 , es aletorio ya que puede depues
de bajar las actualisaciones o al teminar instalar fedora luego configurar
mi usuario , este problema en ubuntu lo habia resolvido poniendo en opciones
de arraque noapic .
Si alguien tiene una idea para un novato
