In the long term it might be cool if we have a cli or desktop client for
fedocal.
This might need, more work on the API (beside all the work on the client).

It would be nice to have support for CalDAV for easy use of fedocal with
Thunderbird or Evolution.

#138: reminder email sent at wrong time when timezone is used
----------------------+-------------------------
Reporter: alick | Owner:

Hi,
It seems that the reminder email is sent at incorrect time when timezone
is used in the meeting. For example, the Chinese meeting [1] (21:00 UTC+8)
was configured to send the reminder 12 hours before (9:00 UTC+8), but in
reality it is sent out 4 hour before (17:00 UTC+8). Please take time to
fix the annoying issue. Thanks.

#132: Some full-day events seems to span two days (in google calendar)

We have these two test days defined in our QA calendar:
* i18n Test Day, https://apps.fedoraproject.org/calendar/QA/2014/9/1/#m764
* Wayland Test Day,
https://apps.fedoraproject.org/calendar/QA/2014/9/1/#m420
Both of them look like a single full-day event in Fedocal, and even in
Zimbra and Evolution. But in Google Calendar, only Wayland looks like a
single day, and i18n looks like spanning two days (with an indication that
it's from 2AM first day to 2AM second day). Look at the attachment.
They both seemed to be stored the same way:
{{{
Stored as:
Start: 2014-09-02 - 00:00:00 UTC
End: 2014-09-03 - 00:00:00 UTC
}}}
and
{{{
Stored as:
Start: 2014-09-04 - 00:00:00 UTC
End: 2014-09-05 - 00:00:00 UTC
}}}
ical export says:
{{{

SUMMARY:i18n Test Day

END:VEVENT
}}}
(there is a wrong description, but I don't want to touch it, because it
might "fix" the bug:))
and
{{{
BEGIN:VEVENT

I have no idea where the difference is, but there has to be some. Ideas?

When there are several events close to each other, sometimes the web page
rendering is broken. See screenshot. Those meetings should actually be:
Monday 16:00-17:00 and 17:30-18:30, Tuesday 17:00-18:00 and 18:00-19:00.

Hi,
I created a full-day event [1] with timezone used (Asia/HongKong UTC+8 in
this example). I expect the start/end time is align with the start/end of
the day in that timezone. But it is set up with UTC time if I check the
details, e.g.:
Start: Wed, October 15, 2014 - 00:00 UTC
End: Fri, October 17, 2014 - 00:00:00 UTC
Expected:
Start: Wed, October 14, 2014 - 16:00 UTC
End: Fri, October 16, 2014 - 16:00:00 UTC
OR
Start: Wed, October 15, 2014 - 00:00 UTC+8
End: Fri, October 17, 2014 - 00:00:00 UTC+8

#135: Wrong meeting was deleted

Today I wanted to delete today's Fedora QA Meeting in our QA calendar,
which means *today's instance* of that recurring weekly meeting.
If I click on the meeting to view the details, the actual meeting date is
different from the "Stored as" date. See details.png. That's a first thing
that's mildly confusing.
When I click red cross "delete" button, the page says different date that
it is today. See delete.png. That's very confusing.
And when I actually deleted the meeting, today's meeting was *not* delete.
Instead, I think, last week's meeting was deleted. That's a serious bug
:-)
