Meeting logs - 2016-11-07 - A look at the activity in the IRC channel and next steps

Hiya,
I quickly went over the IRC metrics from two periods:
- the last two weeks ending today
- two weeks ending 24/10/16
The idea was to see if the activity in the channel has increased after
the announcement we made on the announce list.
It has, but not too much. Of course, since we haven't announced the
channels outside the community yet, we still haven't officially opened
up to newbies.
The next step, phase 2, is to make ourselves more visible outside the
community. I'll send out a separate mail where we can discuss the tasks
that we're going to undertake.
