Hello Ryan, and welcome.
I've seen you sent an introduction email also to the QA team. Great!
In order to practice with the Fedora infrastructure, I advice you to apply for the QA group membership on FAS (Fedora Account System) [1] in order to get sponsored.

See you around.

Self Introduction: Ryan Kosta
by Ryan Kosta
Hi Fedora contibutors,
My name is Ryan Kosta. I have been coding in C for a few years now, just
recently began learning C++. I also do a lot of sysadmin stuff both for
my own systems and for work. I know a fair amount of git, and a bit of
python.
I am trying to find low-level technical stuff to do (coding, testing).
Ideally I would like to do some work on the kernel side of things but
working with other operating system technologies also sounds very
interesting to me.
I am also very open to writing documentation for certain systems,
especially if that task would require me reading code.
Thankyou,
Ryan Kosta <ryanpkosta(a)gmail.com>

Self Introduction: Christoph Karl
by Christoph Karl
Hello!
My name is Christoph Karl and I use Fedora for a long time.
For various reasons I want to change to CentOS,
but I still miss some packages from Fedora.
So I want to learn packaging not only for Fedora but for EPEL also.
I would like to start with the package "qjackctl"
I succeded with a scratch build for EPEL:
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=47379008
But now I do not know how to move on.
Also ownership of "qjackctl" is not clear.
According to devel List it is orphaned
(see Mail from 26.07.20, 23:08 by Fernando Lopez-Lezcano

What would be the next step?
Thank you
Best Regards

New member introduction
by Ramya Parimi
Hello everyone
I am Ramya Parimi and very new to Fedora! I am a scientific researcher
passionate about computers, programming and other fun stuff. With the same
enthusiasm, I learnt Python programming and Pandas mainly using the open
source documentation. As a scientific writer, I wanted to explore the field
of documentation/technical writing as well. That's when I came across
Fedora in one of the forums.
I am very excited to be part of this massively large community. I am
looking forward to learning and growing while contributing my best to the
Fedora project. I can't wait to see what this journey unfolds for me.
Cheers
Ramya
