[Fedora-join] Greetings / Gmane archiving?

Hi all,
I'm a seasoned Fedora contributor, recently returned to Indonesia
after living abroad for years, and looking forward to helping
bootstrap the local community here - as such, fedora-join's launch is
a serendipitous opportunity!
It'd be nice if we can get the mailing archives hosted on Gmane.org --
they have a nice NNTP interface, which some people prefer over getting
mailing list subscriptions emailed -- and makes it easier to catch up
on list messages sent before one joins. Do anyone have any objection,
and do people prefer that email addresses be anonymized?
