On Fedora, providing information requires:
$ sudo dnf install hw-probe edid-decode
to install the packages, and then:
$ sudo -E hw-probe -all -upload
to run the probe and upload information. You can then remove the
packages if you wish.
So this is a super late follow-up, but I finally got around to this. :)
