Hi everyone, My name is Yun (online alias: Xynrin). I am a college freshman studying Artificial Intelligence Technology, and I've been deeply fascinated by Linux and open-source culture. I have explored several distributions, but Fedora has become my absolute favorite for my daily C and Python programming. I truly appreciate the minimalist aesthetic and the robust environment it provides. To help more Chinese newcomers overcome the initial learning curve, I recently built a comprehensive Fedora Chinese Wiki and wrote a Bash setup script to automate post-installation configurations. You can check it out here: https://github.com/Xynrin/xynrin-fedora-wiki/wiki I am very interested in getting involved with the Mindshare Committee. I want to contribute to lowering the technical barriers for new users, whether through localization (L10n), improving documentation, or community building. This is my first time participating in a global open-source community, so I am very open to any guidance on where my skills would be most useful right now. Looking forward to learning and working with you all! Best regards, Yun (Xynrin)
Hi Yun,
That is awesome! Welcome to Fedora.
There is a possibility we might be able to put the information from your Github onto a Fedora site. Maybe the Fedora Wiki to start with.
The Mindshare Committee does not do what I think you think it does, they deal mostly with events.
You can certainly help with l10n, improving documentation and getting community involved.
Can you drop by the Matrix chatroom #join:fedoraproject.org and we can chat about how you can get more involved.
Best Regards,
MatH
