QA Testing Validate Releases Test Updates XFCE SIG Server SIG
All of these can be good! "Validate Releases" and "Test Updates" are basically sub-tasks of "QA Testing". To get started with QA in general, head over to the Fedora Test mailing list https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/test@lists.fedoraproject.org/ and send a Self Introduction.
We're in the planning/development phase for Fedora Linux 36, so validation isn't currently in progress, but you can start testing updates now simply by enabling `updates-testing` on your systems and providing feedback to updates using the Bodhi https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/ system. ((That front page has links to "critical path" and security updates which really need attention. Often these updates have linked bugs and test cases which you can make sure are resolved. (This is a nice way to earn some Fedora Badges, too: https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/in-search-of-the-bull-tester-i)
For the SIGs... if you're an XFCE user, _and_ really want to dive into something where you have a lot of freedom but also a lot of everything is up to you, that's probably a good one. That's because the XFCE spin is a side project of one or two other interested people, and hasn't had a lot going on. I'm sure they'd appreciate the help, but there isn't a lot of obvious structure to plug into.
The Server SIG is a little more organized, with active meetings and membership in a formal Server Working Group. See https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/server-working-group/#_you_are_welcome_... for getting started there.
