Welcome to the Fedora community! It's great to get to know you!
At Fedora, different members of the community contribute to different areas that keep us going. The various areas are described here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join
As a first task, I'd suggest you go through the page and understand the various tasks. You can then pick what you want to work on and get started. If you have any more queries, you can drop us another email.
The Sri Lanka community is very active in Fedora. Danishka works quite a bit on Hanthana which he uses for education in Sri Lanka, Buddhike works with FAmSCo to help Ambassadors carry out their tasks.
You're most welcome to join us at the APAC ambassador's meeting on the IRC this Saturday and introduce yourself to everyone. Please see the following link for details:

Do drop us an email if you have any specific queries. We'll be happy to help you get started in whatever way we can.
