It will appear online in about an hour. Jenkins went down which delayed
the build and our websites are refreshed by cron, not on demand. I have
to step away for a while, so I wanted to get this sent.
The FAQ is in the budget site because this is probably going to survive
the website and it creates a place for issues/PRs as we work through
this. Please open new FAQs here as issues/PRs:
Flock funding decisions will begin being released this week. Please do
not ask, irc, email, telegram, smoke signal, etc. anyone about the
status of your decision or about when decisions will be released.
Everytime someone interrupts the funding committee (or me when I am
processing the requests) it slows the whole system down. We understand
that you have various time pressures and would like answers. Please
understand that we are working on this as hard as we can and are not
As you know, we cannot afford to fund everyone. Additionally, we cannot
afford to do 100% funding for everyone we will fund.
Therefore, we are going to be releasing funding decisions in rounds.
This will allow us to manage our budget better. Your release date is
based on many factors, so do not assume that it says anything about you
as a person or the value of your contributions to Fedora.
It is important that you reply within the time limit specified or you
may lose your funding offer.
