Flock 2017 Decision

Flock 2017 will likely be held in Cape Cod, Maine, USA from 28 August - 1 September (pending contract). We received two great bids for Flock this year from two different groups of contributors for two very different places and times: o Evansville, Indiana bid led by Nick Bebout (nb) with the help of Lee Keitel (keitellf) and USI supporters Dr. Mohammed Khayum and Richard Toeniskoetter. o Cape Cod, Maine bid led by Máirín Duffy (duffy) and Solly Ross. Both bids were detailed and represented a ton of hard work on the part of their submitters. Both bids have fantastic pluses and some challenges, and in the end we selected the Cape Cod bid based on a number of factors. The formal announcement via the Fedora Magazine will be made once the contracts are finalized. On behalf of the Flock Committee, thanks to all of our bidders. Regards, Flock Committee

At the time of writing this account has 23 follows. We have 120,000+ on @fedoral The conference is focused on our community, not the world. We should put messages about Fedora where they can be seen. I suggest we delete this account and not have this overhead.
