I think this is a great compliment to game night.  I will follow up on room availability and sound system issues.

And other events probably. There are some small units, suitable only for
karaoke and speeches for small rooms/audiences (30-60) for around USD 200.
Mid-sized units more suitable for an open or larger space, or outside, are
available in the USD 500-800 range. Stands, mics, and cables would add a
bit more.
