So as of this moment, there are 17 pre-registered attendees who
have
indicated that they are in/near Westford. We should figure out if a bus
is sensible at that number (assuming as many as 24 riders might be
wise, as some folks may not yet have decided whether they are coming).
Doing a quick search of local charter bus companies[1], we could
probably rent a minibus (30 seats) for about $1250 each way ($3.25/mi
for 385 miles, based on Google maps[2]). Alternately, they have a
larger (56-seat) bus for $3.75/mi and a couple of "luxury" buses whose
price is not listed on their website.
Obviously, other bus companies likely exist, but this is hopefully
useful information for starting an investigation.
