The key difference would be that we'd have time set aside for the
currently-active Objectives and Editions. Also, Brian *subtly hinted*
that I could spend more time talking about vision and messaging rather
than showing charts and graphs. :)

Yes, absolutely. This isn't "do everything differently!" -- a lot of it
is building on what we already have.
Also, no location yet, but do we have any idea when we might know? If
there
was any diminished enthusiasm last year, the uncertainty about where and
when Flock was happening may have contributed.
Hopefully everything will be settled this week. I agree this has been a
problem... we need to rethink the location planning process a bit too.
