If you've already been thinking, "Hey, I should come to Krakow early and check it out," fair warning:

July 25–31, 2016 is Catholic World Youth Day with the pope. That doesn't sound so crazy if you've never heard of it. But the last few years have attracted more than 1 million visitors each year. And this one is in honor of Pope John Paul II, who called Krakow home. I suspect it will be huge.

If you still want to be in town those days, you should probably book a room yesterday.
