CFP closes in a week and we have 21 proposals.
I'm thinking we'll need to extend the CFP. How much should we extend it by?
I agree. Three weeks? That gives until July 12. I think we can make
decisions on talks pretty quickly after it closes.

Well, isn't part of the issue that people need sufficient time to do the VISA
and flight-booking dance? Waiting another three weeks might make that a bit
tight. I'd suggest only two weeks, but of course that puts us right up against
US Independence Day...
I don't think we should declare an extend in CFP right now, we can consider more marketing though.
In my experience (in most of the conferences) people submit their proposals during last week.
I am still waiting for some reviews and will submit mine on this coming weekend.

I am also concerned about VISA process will take time and if we delay talk/to do session selection process, this will impact schedule further.
Please consider extending CFP after June 14 and a 2 weeks extension should be good.

Thanks & Regards,
Amita
