I understand that point, but I have a different view. :)
We want the Fedora t-shirts to be a special perk for contributors;
something where they can take away to show their Fedora pride. While we
value our sponsors, having other logos on the shirt detracts from that;
it seems less special and more like vendor promo swag.
I will put this bluntly: finding sponsors for Flock is extremely
difficult. It is very hard to describe what benefit they get from
doing so other than community goodwill. The more you devalue their
contribution, the less interested potential sponsors will be.
If you want Flock to be a 100% Red Hat sponsored event, fine. Just
say so. If that's not your intention, then I suggest you rethink your
request because you're going to drive it to that conclusion
inadvertently.
