You can buy a local prepaid SIM card even at a newspapers shop
in an airport or at a gas station. The average price is $1.3
(yes, slightly more than one US dollar.) As a newcomer you get some
bonuses so there is a chance it will be your only expense,
especially if your main aim is to receive the calls in case of
emergence. All you need is a compatible device, if you haven't
got one you can buy one, even second hand if the price matters.
The same applies to all attendees, not just the Flock planning staff.
