The goal with transportation is to help ease moving 250 people. The
public transit is, as noted by Rafal below, easy to access from the hotel.
Even for transit, we think we can do it reasonably within budget ... I
hope. I haven't actually seen a budget for this portion of the event.
Actually, I think that the public transit is not a bad option. Browar
Lubicz is near
the main railway station which in turn is near the 130 bus final/first stop. So the
options to come from Browar Lubicz back to the hotel are:
Here we should probably arrange for a transport back and forth to help
with the size of the group.
* regular bus 130, departure every 20 minutes in the evening, the
last one is at
23:20. Walking distance from Browar Lubicz to the bus stop: 600-700 m (7-9 minutes),
travel time 15 min, walking distance from the bus stop to the hotel: 500 m (6-8 min),
ticket price: 2.80 zł;
* night bus 904, departure every 1 h starting from midnight until 4:00am. Walking
distance to the bus stop: 300-400 m (5-7 min), travel time 14 min, walking distance
to the hotel: 400-500 m (5-7 min), ticket price 2.80 zł;
* taxi may cost 20-30 zł and divide it by 4 passengers; you can also order a taxi
van which will cost more but will take 6 passengers;
* for those mad about walking on feet: the total distance from Browar Lubicz to
the hotel is about 4-5 km (2.5-3 miles) and would take about 1 hour;
* how to get there from the hotel is probably the reverse of the above except that
you will use a day bus which runs more often during the daytime and 20 minutes
ticket may not be enough so the price will be 3.80 zł.
The only concern is that 250 people will not fit into one bus but I guess they are not
all going to travel at the same time.
I have not enough precise information about the Tuesday event, as Brian said:

"city center" is not precise but I guess the best place to start is again near
the
main railway station/130 bus stop. To return back from Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz)
to the hotel the only reasonable option is 904 night bus, departure every 1 h starting
at 23:47, travel time: 27 minutes, price 3.80 zł.
Again, here, the idea was transport to get people to the center, I
suspect we would do a bus back at a fixed time and after that you're on
your own.
